NXT PLANET is home to our range of precision planetary gearboxes.
For each application in which a planetary gearbox is used an evaluation of the torque requirements, the torsional rigidity of the angular backlash, the operating noise levels and many other parameters needs to be performed to identify the correct solution.
The RE line is the first series of Siboni planetary gearboxes to be launched and is designed to ensure a strong load transmission, high accuracy and reliability . Not only were the market requirements considered but also the motor manufacturer’s mechanical choices were taken into account when carefully choosing the range of coupling flanges and coupling systems.
The NXT line is the second series of Siboni planetary gearboxes to be launched and is designed to offer a greater dynamic response with respect to the RE line, thus satisfying the requirements of industrial automation machine manufacturers.
The NXT line sparked further development of the modular application possibilities, with focus given to both the motor coupling and the movement of all axes.
The NXR line of planetary gearboxes was launched in 2017 which combines the specific features of the previous projects RE (transmitted torque) and NXT (torsional rigidity) in a single product. The gearbox is the link between the electronic drivers and the mechanics of the system.
To facilitate the use of the NXT PLANET products, Siboni has made available the SI SIZING software which assists in optimising the sizing of the entire kinematic chain by analysing the individual components.
